we were sitting on the floor messing around with an omnichord plugged into some effect pedals and recording it on an old desktop cassette recorder. i think we recorded it like an hour or two before i dropped nesey off at the train station for their trip to canada.
clarinet played by john kiran fernandes on september 24th 2023 in athens, georgia
john and i had just played a show together and were recording overdubs on a song by a band called the orange doors who also played the show with john and i earlier that night.
john recorded his overdub for this in his room, in one take. we recorded john's overdub a few hours before i had to get on a bus at 2am from athens to atlanta to fly back to portland
